In October 2016, Sharon and Paul held their wedding day in the Salthill Hotel, Galway. The Salthill hotel from a photographer’s perspective is an ideal location for wedding photography with the nearby park, the promenade, Barna woods, silver strand beach and modern décor of the Salthill hotel itself. The nearby locations offer lots of variety for the creative outdoor photos.

I always request in advance that brides leave all their details in a single location before we arrive to photograph the details on the morning of a wedding, details like the brides wedding dress, bridesmaids dresses, shoes, hair pieces, jewellery, perfumes or any other items that are of special importance. I was delighted to see the effort that Sharon and her bridesmaids had gone to when we arrived where they had a separate room set aside with all the details laid out to perfection. This gives us a head start for the day and it set the tone for the level of supports we received from Sharon and the bridesmaids, they had everything working like clockwork, Sharon was even in her dress on time which is often a rare occurrence and that gave us extra time to take family photos outside her home house before leaving for the church.

Sharon & Paul opted for a 64 page wedding album by Graphistudio, Italy, with a maple design box, a sequoia leather book with a woven spine, printed on metallic paper with satin lamination.
